How fast is your site on a phone?

People leave slow websites, and they rarely tell you why. This measures your site the way a visitor on a phone experiences it, then says plainly whether it's a problem — and what's actually causing it.

We'll load your page on a simulated phone, the way Google measures it. This one takes a while — often half a minute, sometimes closer to two — because it genuinely loads your site rather than guessing. Heavier sites take longest, which is usually the answer in itself.

No need for the https:// — just the address is fine.

What this is — and isn't. This is Google's own PageSpeed measurement, run on a simulated mid-range phone on a slower connection — deliberately harsher than your office wifi, because that's closer to how a customer arrives. It measures one page, once, and results move around a bit between runs. Treat it as a strong signal rather than a precise number: "slow enough to lose people" is useful, "47 out of 100" on its own is not. And a fast page with nothing worth reading on it still won't get you customers.

The human version

Site slow enough to be costing you?

Most small-business sites are slow for two or three fixable reasons — usually huge images and too many plugins doing too much. We'll tell you which of them actually matter for your site, and which are noise that isn't worth your money.
