Privacy

Privacy, in plain English.

We sell privacy-respecting analytics to our clients, so it would be strange to run this site any other way. Here's exactly what we collect, and what we don't.

The short version

This is a small business website. We collect the minimum needed to understand whether the site is working and to reply when you contact us. We don't sell your data, we don't run advertising trackers, and we don't load cookies for analytics unless you say yes.

Analytics

We want to know basic things like how many people visit and which pages they read — so we can make the site better. We use two tools for this, and we're deliberate about the difference:

  • A privacy-first, cookieless tool that counts visits without identifying you and without storing anything on your device. It needs no consent because it collects no personal data.
  • Google Analytics, which does use cookies. We only load it after you accept cookies on the banner. Decline, and it never loads — the site works exactly the same. When it does run, we've turned on IP anonymization and turned off Google's advertising signals.

You can change your mind anytime by clearing this site's data in your browser, which resets your cookie choice.

When you contact us

If you fill in the contact form, you send us your name, email, business name, and your message. That goes to our email inbox (hello@eridean.com) through a form service that passes the message along. We use it for one thing: to reply to you and, if it goes somewhere, to do the work you're asking about. We don't add you to a marketing list or share it with anyone.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
  • We don't run advertising or cross-site tracking pixels.
  • We don't use dark patterns to trick you into accepting cookies — "Decline" is a real, equal choice.
  • We don't collect more than we need.

Other services we rely on

Like most sites, we use a few reputable providers to operate: a hosting/CDN provider that serves these pages, the analytics tools above, and a form service that delivers your message to our inbox. Each sees only what it needs to do its job. Fonts are loaded from a font service, which may see your IP address as part of delivering them.

Your choices

  • Cookies: accept or decline on the banner; declining blocks the cookie-based analytics entirely.
  • Your contact data: if you've emailed us and want us to delete what you sent, just ask — hello@eridean.com — and we will.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, or you want to know exactly what we hold about you, email hello@eridean.com. A real person — the person who runs the business — will answer.

This page describes our actual practices in plain language. It isn't a legal contract, and it may be updated as the business grows — the "last updated" date at the top will change when it does.
